After five days of preliminary round of 2025 World Handball Championship (January 14 – February 2), a question arises: who will compete in the quarter-finals?
Before that, the teams must decide through a main round, which takes place from January 21 to 26. In total, 24 teams are qualified for this new phase and each of them must play three matches.
France and Tunisia are among these 24 qualified teams while Algeria has been moved to the President’s Cup table.
At the end of the main round, 8 teams will qualify for the quarter-finals with the ultimate goal of lifting the trophy.
