The new generation of Samsung Galaxy S25 smartphones is almost here. The Galaxy Unpacked event will take place on January 22 at 1:00 AM EST in San Jose, California (8:00 PM Kyiv time), where the company will showcase the “Next Big Thing.”

What exactly will be presented? Aside from a few confirmed new products and possible leaks, only those who have signed a confidentiality agreement know all the details. However, it is likely that we will see three models of Galaxy S25 smartphones: standard, Plus and Ultra.

Here are the new features
Galaxy S25, S25+ et S25 Ultra

Samsung usually presents its flagship Galaxy S models at the first Unpacked event of the year. The event is expected to feature three Galaxy S25 models: S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra. The design of the new smartphones is expected to be only slightly changed, with rounded corners, smoother edges and thinner bezels. The screens of the S25 and S25+ models remain the same as the previous generation – 6.2 and 6.7 inches respectively, while the Ultra model will have a slightly larger screen – 6.9 inches.

All models of the Galaxy S25 are likely to use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, which supports generative artificial intelligence on the device, in line with Samsung’s strategic focus on Galaxy AI in recent models.

It is expected that only the ultra-wide sensor of the Galaxy S25 Ultra will be improved to 50 MP (from 12 MP in the previous version). Additionally, the new models will support the Qi2 wireless charging standard, although MagSafe charging magnets will only be available via an optional case.
-Galaxy Ring 2 and AR glasses

According to some rumors, the event will be an opportunity to present the Galaxy Ring 2, an improved version of the fitness bracelet equipped with new sensors and artificial intelligence functions. The company is also expected to reveal some details about its virtual reality glasses and its cooperation with Google and Qualcomm for the development of XR gadgets.

What else?
The Galaxy S25 Slim, a version with a thinner design, could be presented. One UI 7 is a new version of Samsung’s operating system that will offer a more intuitive interface and the integration of AI functions.
