The Sauvage Méditerranée association, created by Emmanuel Laurin, was born in 2019 in Aix-en-Provence. His goal? Promoting the daily value of many waste collected in nature and from fishermen such as plastic, glass polished by the sea, or even fishing nets.

Its founding values are the preservation of the environment, recycling and public awareness. The aim of the association is to create value through the recycling of waste and to redistribute it to its partner associations, in order to encourage them in their missions of depollution and raising awareness among the general public. Pay in waste and earn gifts
Commissioned by partners in April 2023, Monnaie sauvage allows you toobtain advantages from merchants partners. What do they have in common? Be committed to “ local consumption, respectful of short circuits, adept at reducing waste and repairing objects ».
How does Wild Money work?
All you have to do is collect waste in nature, during collection days organized by partner associations, then exchange it for Wild Money. To find out the next dates of collective collectionvisit the Sauvage Méditerranée social networks. It is on site, once your waste has been weighed, that you will receive your parts.
-For 1 kg of waste collected, one coin will be given to you. In return, you will receive a reduction, an advantage or a goodie from partner businesses. Please note that each time you exchange a wild coin for an advantage, a donation of €5 will be generated by Sauvage Méditerranée to a environmental defense association.

The results of almost two years of existence for Sauvage Méditerranée
In 2023, the Sauvage Méditerranée association distributed 1,200 coins, including 500 used in businesses. It does not yet have the figures for 2024. Good news: this year, the Wild Money plans to set up in La Ciotat and Toulon. As part of its development, it is also recruiting a position dedicated to its next two locations.
