Closures

Among the integrated establishments, those of Froyennes, Inno Rue Neuve, Messancy, Saint-Denijs-Westrem, Saint-Kruis Brugge and Wilrijk will close their doors.

As for franchisees, restaurants in Waterloo, Auderghem, Evere, Inno Meer, Flémalle, Libramont, Wépion, Berchem-Sainte-Agathe, Gent, Hasselt, Hannut, Edegem and Arlon are also doomed to closure.

Finally, six Flemish restaurants as well as the Bistro Garden in Tervuren will suffer the same fate.

Franchise crossings

Some establishments could become franchisees if potential buyers come forward. This is the case for: Ans, Boncelles, Gosselies, Kortrijk Noord, Kraainem, Rocourt, Turnhout, Waterloo Mont-Saint-Jean and Olen.

Staff reduction (-30%) in certain integrated restaurants

The integrated restaurants of Bierges, Bomerée, Brugge B Park, Drogenbos, Fléron, Haine-Saint-Pierre, Herstal, Jemappes, Korbeek-Lo, Kuringen, Lier, Marche-en-Famenne, Mons, Ninove, Nivelles, Jambes, Oostakker, Schoten, Sint-Maarten, Tournai Bastion, Webbekom, Wijnegem and Zemst will continue to operate, but with a 30% staff reduction.

In the Central region

In Soignies, the situation will remain unchanged, the franchised establishment being retained.

In Haine-Saint-Pierre, the Lunch Garden will be maintained under its own management, but will have to reduce its workforce (-30%).

Difficulties for workers

In addition to these measures, the financial situation of employees remains worrying. Despite management’s promises, end-of-year bonuses and salaries for the month of January will not be paid immediately. Employees will have to wait to receive these amounts.
