Toll rates will change on February 1. Here are the expected increases by concession.
It’s sad to see, but we almost rejoiced in recent weeks when we read about the increase in motorway toll prices in France, more measured than that which was feared, especially after what the motorway companies had suggestedthus putting pressure on the executive imposing a tax on them in order to finance the ecological transition. Especially since in previous years, the growth in toll prices had been steep to say the least in our country: 3% in 2024, 4.75% on average in 2023 and… 10.5% since 2019!
A nice counterpart
But no, ultimately, the average increase in tolls on our highways this year will be 0.92%with, obviously, sometimes notable differences depending on the route taken, and depending on the concessionaires whose role of delegation of a public service mission concerns the financing, construction, operation and maintenance of a highway but who, in return, receive the collection of the toll.
Increases in toll rates for historic concessions in force in our country from Saturday February 1, 2025
- VINCI Autoroutes (ASF, Cofiroute and Escota): + 0.77%
- SANEF : + 0.85%
- APRR: +1.08%
- AREA : + 1,10%
- SAPN : + 1,14%
