West of Alençon, along the Alencéa swimming pool under construction, rue Luther-King closed to traffic

Along the Alencéa swimming pool under construction, the rue Martin Luther-Kingat the west entrance ofAlençon (Orne), is closed to traffic in its part between the roundabout of rue de Villeneuve and the entrance to the commune of Saint-Germain-du-Corbéis and Condé-sur-Sarthe. And this until February 28, 2025.

Cycle path

The reason? The development of the cycle continuity which already exists on this same street in its part between the route de Bretagne (from Anova and La Luciole) and the roundabout on rue de Villeneuve, where the future gendarmerie of the ‘Orne.

Deviations

The work on this cycle path is entrusted to the company Eurovia. Parking for all vehicles is forbidden near the construction site.

Access to events and events planned at Place du Hertré and the Anova exhibition center is maintained via deviations.

A single pool open to the swimming pool

Access to the swimming pool remains possible. Also under construction, it operates with “only the 25 m sports pool and its six lanes with public access for swimmers”, reports the Alencéa website. All aquatic activities are suspended during the work.

Work elsewhere

Giroye and Ambroise de Loré streets: road repair by the Eurovia company, from Monday January 20 to Friday February 28. The circulation of all vehicles will be prohibited on rue Giroye (except MFR services and deliveries) and rue Ambroise de Loré (except services). A diversion will be put in place via rue de Bretagne and boulevard Colbert. Parking of all vehicles will be prohibited near the site.

Rue Saint Isige: renewal of the AEP network by the company Sade Cgth, from Wednesday January 22 to Friday February 28. The circulation of all vehicles (except residents and services) will be prohibited on rue Saint Isige, in the part between rue de Lancrel and rue du Général Fromentin. A diversion will be set up via rue de l’Adoration and rue du Général Fromentin and via rue de Lancrel, boulevard Mézeray and rue du Général Fromentin. Pre-signage will be put in place on adjacent streets. Depending on the progress of the construction site in the different phases, Godard and Biroteau streets will be accessible in two directions, only for local residents. Parking of all vehicles is prohibited near the site.

Rue des Fabriques: Resumption of lead connections by the company Eaux de Normandie, until Friday February 14. The circulation of all vehicles (except local residents and services) is prohibited on rue des Fabriques. A diversion is in place via rue des Tisons, rue Leboucher and Avenue Rhin et Danube. Parking of all vehicles is prohibited near the site.

Path of the 3 Chimneys: creation of a sanitation buffer basin carried out by the company Sade Dr Normandie, until Friday April 25. The circulation of all vehicles (except local residents and services) is prohibited on Chemin des 3 Cheminées. Parking of all vehicles is prohibited near the site.

Rue Claude Chappe: street repair carried out by the Colas company, until Friday February 28. The circulation of all vehicles (except local residents and services) is prohibited on rue Claude Chappe. Parking of all vehicles is prohibited near the site.

Rue du Coteau de la Briante: creation of a low voltage network by the company Spie Citynetworks, until Friday January 24. The circulation of all vehicles (except residents and services) is prohibited on rue du Coteau de la Briante, from the Planet’Ciné cinema to the EHPAD Le Diamant, in the direction of rue de Bretagne towards rue de la Brebiette. Parking of all vehicles is prohibited near the site.

Rue Seurin [n° 30] : repair of the EU network by the company Snot. Two days in the period from Wednesday January 15 to Friday January 24, 2025, the circulation of all vehicles will be prohibited on rue Seurin. A diversion will be put in place via rue du Mans. Parking of all vehicles will be prohibited near the site.
