With Lenny Chachoua in MVP mode and a red card for Dredin Sorensen, Pia emerged victorious (50 to 24). This victory allows the Baroudeurs to climb to fourth place in the Super XIII.
Defeated by Albi last week, the Baroudeurs were counting on the arrival of Villefranche to revive themselves and take their revenge from the first leg, where Pia lost 27-26.
There was no need to be late at the Daniel Ambert stadium for this Super XIII clash. After only a few minutes of a fierce duel around the held, the Salanquais opened the scoring through their center Théo Bonneriez who took a good interval in the defense of Villefranche, transformed by the local scorer Alan Baby, (3′, 6- 0).
Few hand faults at the start of the match, Villefranche begins to advance more and more, but it is indeed Pia who once again materializes their arrival in the opposing camp.
