2. Bundesliga: FCK wins against Ulm and remains on the lookout for the leaders

On the 18th day of the 2. Bundesliga, 1. FC Kaiserslautern won 2-1 against SSV Ulm. The away team started the match well, with Philipp Strompf opening the scoring with a header in the fourth minute. However, the home team quickly turned things around before half-time.

Marlon Ritter and Filip Kaloc both found the net, giving Kaiserslautern a 2-1 lead. After the break, the “Spatzen” pushed to equalize but failed to score. Thanks to this victory, the Red Devils remain on the lookout for the best teams in the championship, while Ulm is still in 16th position in the standings.

For their next meeting, FCK will travel to Ronhof to face Greuther Fürth next Friday. Meanwhile, Ulm will host competitor Jahn Regensburg the following Sunday. In other afternoon results, Eintracht Braunschweig and FC Schalke 04 drew 0-0, and Preußen Münster beat Greuther Fürth 2-1.
