Carlos Alcaraz has good feelings during this Australian Open. The Spaniard won his first two rounds without forcing against Shevchenko and Nishioka, but had to work a little harder against Nuno Borges.

The 21-year-old lost his first set of the tournament but still won in four sets (6-2, 6-4, 6-7, 6-2).

In the third round, Alcaraz delighted the spectators at Rod Laver Arena. While Borges managed to draw him to the net on a drop shot, the Spaniard responded with a winning backhand lob while he was at the end of the race on the next shot.

No doubt, Carlos Alcaraz is in good shape physically at the start of the season and confirms his ambition to win the only Grand Slam title missing from his record.

A quarter-finalist last year, the 21-year-old will play Draper or Vukic for a place in the second week.
