The Dijon l’Hebdo Golden Balls are now part of the great local traditions. The evening last December which rewarded the great actors (and actresses) of the life of the city in 2024 was further proof of this, if necessary!
The Ballons d’Or of Dijon l’Hebdo are certainly less oldhe laughsé than those of France Football (born in 1956) since the firstAndre edition dates back to 2014, more they still represent an expected event at the end of each year. And this, for two major reasons: firstly, of course, to discover the team selected by the editorial staff of Dijon l’Hebdo, bringing together all those who have made the region move but also because, on the eve of the traditional confectioners’ truce, this evening is always a wonderful moment of sharing. With the key word, conviviality! And this was indeed there again on December 11, at the Odysséo cabaret, which was to accommodate more than 230 people for the occasion.
Everyone was able to applaud the great players of the 2024 team who were presented and welcomed on stage by the president of Dijon l’Hebdo, Jean-Louis Pierre, and the comedian Coralie Mori, who had excelled during the last Dijon Women’s Laughter and Wine Festival. As for the 2024 vintage of Ballons d’Or from Dijon l’Hebdo, it was once again a great vintage. You will discover the members of our 2024 team who, each in their respective field and on diverse terrains, have achieved great victories. They (and they) were given a trophy made by the Dijon sculptor Emmaly.
Great art, like this unique evening where the gastronomic talent of Nicolas Isnard and David Le Comte, the starred chefs of La Charme Collection, was expressed… Other partners, like the Gaugry Cheese Factory, of the Duchess of Ice, of la Brasserie 90 BPMalso delighted the many actors in the life of the city present. And the actresses of course…
The editorial staff
President: Nathalie Koenders
As he had committed to it – he had announced it to us in preview during a debate at the Club Dijon l’Hebdo last April – François Rebsamen wanted to transmit his “most beautiful mandate, that of as mayor of Dijon”, to his first deputy Nathalie Koenders. This transmission, announced the day before the Salon des Maires de Paris, has given new flavor to public discourse. So in Dijon, promises bind those who believe them. And on November 25, 2024, Nathalie Koenders was elected by the municipal council to the highest positions in Dijon. Local action, solidarity and humanism have always been part of its commitments, as has the tranquility of all… It is not a first at the DLH Ballons d’Or that a woman receives the President’s Trophy but, in Dijon, it is historic that a woman presides over the destiny of the city.
Coach: Daniel Passeri
A coach is one who knows how to unite his troops but who also knows how to travel, that is to say, to win victories at home and away. Daniel Passeri has all his talents… Outside, he excelled: the formerAndsee from therecole hhotelAndback from high schooland Simone-Veil in Dijon has become one of the best professionals in the field of wine in the Caraïbes. Then, he returned to play at home, where, on his land, Daniel Passeri opened 3 stores: rue d’Auxonne, in Quetigny then in Ahuy. And he has just moved his Quetigny brand just opposite his previous premises. It now occupies the former, more spacious premises of the Campagnard, which he has completely renovated, in order to offer a larger boutique and tasting room.
Defense
Goalkeeper: Noël Lazarini
Succeeding Antoine Munoz at La Cloche is a bit like taking over from Hugo Lloris in the French team. We must not get into trouble, if you allow us the footballing expression! Noël Lazarini took up the challenge at 40 years old. This Corsican native of Bastia took over management of the only 5-star hotel in Dijon last year. This regular at large houses and major Michelin stars – he began his career at the Martinez in Cannes – has multiplied since his arrival like a true guardian of the temple of Dijon hotels. Noël Lazarini took up the gauntlet magnificently and Dijon l’Hebdo decided to entrust him with the goalkeeper gloves of its 2024 team.
Right back: Régis Parot
Chance sometimes does things well. It was in this great Olympic year for French sport that FORMAPI celebrated its 30th anniversary. Created and chaired by Bernard Depierre, the work-study training organization specializing in sport, which is a leader in the field in France, has celebrated its 30e candle on October 10. And among the pillars, the great defenders, of this CFA outside the walls is Régis Parot, deputy director and responsible for the development of the territorial branches. It would belong to what the Corsicans call the historic FORMAPI canal. And, the historic channel, it is better to have it behind you than against you, so the right-back position suits it very well…
Left back: Christie Le Bihan
Christie Le Bihan is none other than the creator and director of the Pigier School, the new Alternance Business School, which since its genesis in 2022 has continued to increase its number of learners. It must be said that this business leader, who has the Pigier group in her blood, was able to make her establishment a reference for courses of excellence in a very short time. And for good reason, she defends educational innovation as well as the development of young people like no other…
Stopper: Jacques Delaine
The new General Director of DBE (Dijon Bourgogne Events), the Local Public Company in charge of managing the Exhibition and Congress Centre, enjoyed victory for his first Dijon Fair. This Dijon event par excellence was a success, with 170,000 visitors from October 31 to November 11, i.e. 16,000 more than in 2023. Previously, Jacques Delaine managed Eiffage Construction. We owe him in particular the piloting of the creation of the International City of Gastronomy… whose architectural achievement also left no one indifferent.
Libero: Carole Thuel
In a team, at the back, you must have “responsible” defenders par excellence. And if there is indeed a “responsible” business leader, it is Carole Thuel, who, with her husband William, is pto talkowner of the Intermarché Jean-JaurAnds in Dijon. Highlighting Burgundian products with regional labels, referencing around a hundred local suppliers, sorting waste, donations to local associations, here is a selection of the key areas put in place by Carole Thuel to obtain the “Responsible Trader” label. And she also puts this responsibility at the service of as many people as possible by belonging to the team at the CCI Côte-d’Or – Saône-et-Loire office!
The midfielder
Midfield 6: Pierre Nudant
A number 6 is often the one who runs the most, who must defend and attack, project himself at high speed… Let’s remember N’Golo Kanté in 2018! It is the engine of a team. Number 6 is none other than the director of the eponymous car dealership, Pierre Nudant, who does not need much introduction, in the automotive world and much more broadly, his trajectory is ascendant, and has been since quite a few years. Its Land Rovers, Volvos, Alfa Romeos and Jaguars delight the inhabitants of the metropolis, but not only that…
Milieu 8: Richard Texeira
Football players regularly make films! Even if VAR has considerably changed the situation… We did not choose this number 8 because we owe it the renovation of one of Dijon’s emblematic cinemas, the Alhambra… No, we chose to place it in the middle of this 2024 team Richard Texeira, the boss of the Au Bureau brasserie, because he runs one of the central squares of Dijon. In 7 years, this brand has established itself as one of the must-see places in the City of Dukes… A great victory for an Autunois in the City of Dukes, a true hands-on man!
Midfield 10: Lydie Malaty
To occupy the position of game leader, you need a real vision of the game. Who better than the new director of Optic 2000 to occupy this position! After going through Saint-Bénigne Formation, this store manager, who has already excelled for Jacqueline Riu, Christine Laure and C&A, took the reins of the emblematic brand of the Padieu group located on rue de la Liberté. And as women are on the rise in Dijon, Dijon l’Hebdo could only place Lydie Malaty as playmaker!
The attack
Right winger: Valérie Gerarduzzi
If a business leader embodies well-oiled business, it’s her! It must be said that since 2019, Valérie Gerarduzzi has masterfully managed the Cosminter cosmetic laboratory which has become, since its creation 41 years ago, the partner of numerous brands with regional, national, and even international influence. Everyone knows Cosminter in Fleurey-sur-Ouche. And, with R&D firmly in her heart… and especially in her body, cosmetics requires, this business leader never stops attacking new markets every year.
Center forward: Emeric Limagne
If there is one essential hospital structure in Dijon, which continues to assert itself at the national level, but also internationally, as a true reference, it is the Georges-François Leclerc Center, managed by the Professor Charles Coutant. It is therefore completely natural to reward one of its researchers who works on the Cancer Biology Transfer Platform. Professor of immuno-oncology, Emeric Limagne, deserves to wear the number 9, essential to a great football team. And it is not the PSG fans, orphans in the matter this season, who will claim the opposite!
Left winger: Frédéric Bec
Victor Hugo wrote: “The future is a door, the past is the key”. This formula could illustrate the relevance of the Saint-Bénigne group, which gives young people the keys to success for their future. And this has been going on since… 1719. This group has no equal when it comes to combining educational tradition and innovation. As proof, the new application store opened last school year. A brand intended to put students in a real situation while supporting local producers. As it is a question of the future of our young people, in other words of looking ahead, the previous position could only go to the general director of St-Bé: Frédéric Bec.
