FC Barcelona recorded five different goalscorers as they won 5-1 against Real Betis to advance to the quarter-finals of the Copa del Rey.
Visiting side Sevilla were knocked out of the competition following a superb performance from Barça, with Gavi and Jules Koundé scoring in the first half to give the hosts a 2-0 lead.
In the second half, Raphinha, Ferran Torres and Lamine Yamal made it 5-1, facilitating the progress of Hansi Flick’s men.
La Liga leaders Atlético Madrid also easily won their match against second division side Elche, with Alexander Sorloth scoring two first-half goals in a 4-0 away win .
Rodrigo Riquelme and Julián Álvarez completed the scoring after the break to secure a comfortable victory.
Pontevedra, in the fourth division, saw their cup run halted at home against Getafe, who scored the winning goal in the second minute before finishing with nine players. Meanwhile, Leganés scored twice in the final 15 minutes to beat Almería 3-2.

Paris Saint-Germain avoided a big scare in the Coupe de France by coming back from a goal down against fifth division club Espaly to finally win 4-2.

Thaon, also in the fifth division, almost created a sensation as he held off an impressive Strasbourg, who ultimately won 5-3 on penalties on a night of remarkable results in France.

Harry Kane scored his 22nd goal of the season as Bayern Munich crushed Hoffenheim 5-0, extending their lead to four points at the top of the Bundesliga.
Heidenheim scored in the fifth minute of injury time through Leo Scienza to dramatically equalize 3-3 against Werder Bremen, while Stuttgart moved closer to the Champions League places by beating fourth-placed RB Leipzig 2-1.
