The Sûreté du Québec is still continuing its investigation to find the individual(s) involved in a homicide that occurred in a business in St-Anselme in the Bellechasse region.
The Personal Crimes Investigation Department of the Sûreté du Québec is asking for the public’s help in relation to a homicide that occurred on November 28, 2024, in a business located on Route Bégin, in Saint-Anselme.
Remember that around 8:00 p.m. on the evening of November 28, an armed individual broke into the business, fatally shot a woman in her thirties and seriously injured another woman in her twenties before fleeing on foot.
Investigators are trying to identify potential witnesses.
A runner who allegedly passed several times on rue du Sous-Bois in Saint-Anselme, between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m., on the evening of November 28, 2024.
The Sûreté du Québec is also looking for a lady who was walking with her dog on Commerciale Street during the same hours.
The Sûreté du Québec deploys a command post to collect information
This Thursday, January 16, 2025, from 3:30 p.m., a mobile command post and investigators will be in Saint-Anselme, near 603 route Bégin, to meet anyone wishing to provide information related to this event.
Investigators and police officers will also
door to door in the neighborhood, hoping to meet other potential witnesses.
