The three minors aged 16 and 17 who were taken into police custody after knocking down two police officers, from the night brigade of the Valencia police station, were indicted for attempted murder of a person holding public authority , and placed in pre-trial detention.
This is the decision which was taken on Tuesday, after their presentation before an investigating judge for facts which dated from Sunday January 12. That day, around 5 a.m., the three indicted, armed with a handgun, allegedly attacked a fifty-year-old living in Guilherand-Granges at his home, before stealing his car, a Tesla, with which they fled. The car was quickly geolocated, and it was Valence police who ended up spotting it, in the city center of Valence. It was while trying to block the escapees that two Valence police officers were violently struck in the Polygone district.
