This decision follows a tragic event that occurred on December 22. An armed man fired shots near the locker rooms and in the stadium parking lot, saying he was looking for a club educator. The incident occurred after the victory (4-0) against Sel Saint-Priest in Jarez Football, during a late match on the 9th day of the championship. At the same time, the first team players were informed that the season was over. This hard blow comes as the club was having a remarkable season. Valence FC reached the 8th round of the Coupe de France, an exceptional performance concluded with a defeat against FC Martigues (Ligue 2).

The city wants to save the football school
