Sanzaru’s Asgard’s Wrath 2 receives its final update

Sanzaru Games studio, creator of the Asgard’s Wrath series, has launched the final update for its exclusive Quest game, Asgard’s Wrath 2 (2023). The developer now announces that it is focusing on its next big thing.

Asgard’s Wrath 2 est an action role-playing gamesigned by Sanzaru Games. It was released by Oculus Studios, and is specially designed for Meta Quest VR headsets. The game redefined the standards of standalone virtual reality. It has eclipsed classics like Half-Life: Alyx and Skyrim, and rises to the pinnacle of the VR experience. With over a hundred hours of gameplayAsgard’s Wrath 2 is the most elaborate RPG, created specifically for virtual reality.

Sanzaru recently released a major content update for Asgard’s Wrath 2, which follows its Rift-exclusive title, Asgard’s Wrath (2019). Asgard’s Wrath 2 ends its cycle with one last cosmic event for January and bug fixes.

The Sanzaru Games studio will now be limited to address key issues and fix reported bugs. No new features will be included, but from February, previous events will be re-displayed to offer players the opportunity to catch up.

In addition to this, the studio specifies: “We are redirecting our attention towards beautiful projects. And as soon as we’re ready, we can’t wait to reveal our next big thing to our entire community. »

Is Sanzaru preparing a sequel to Asgard’s Wrath 2? The studio’s future is uncertain

The studio has not yet given more information on the project it is preparing. He didn’t say anything more about what’s to come. But there are two possibilities. On the one hand, it may be a new version or suite d’Asgard’s Wrath (the same game but with more content or a new story). On the other hand, it is a completely different game, unrelated to Asgard’s Wrath.

Sanzaru’s future remains uncertain. But since its acquisition by Meta in 2020, the studio has focused on the creation of exclusive games for the company’s XR headsets. With two remarkably produced games in the RPG genre, Sanzaru seems ready to take on new challenges in this area.
