An 18-year-old young man is the subject of a wanted notice because he could be involved in a case of attempted murder of a minor in Trois-Rivières.

Sébastien Blais is the main suspect in this event which occurred on Notre-Dame Center Street on January 10. The police officers of the City of Trois-Rivières have good reason to believe that he may have shot a minor victim, hitting him with a firearm projectile.

The young man is the subject of an arrest warrant for attempted murder. He is accused of attempting to cause death by using a firearm, discharging a firearm with intent to endanger the lives of others, as well as committing assault serious endangering the life of the victim.

Sébastien Blais has brown hair and brown eyes. He could travel on foot or by taxi. According to information from the Trois-Rivières police, he could be in possession of a firearm.

The public is urged to exercise great caution if he is seen. Citizens should call 911, and avoid intervening with the suspect.
