Almost a year after the announcement of his cancer, Princess Kate Middleton declares “to be in remission » this Tuesday January 14, 2025.

Earlier in the day, the princess visited the Royal Marsden Hospital in London where she was treated for her cancer, to thank the staff and show her support to the patients.

At the end of this visit, and while she announced in September 2024 that she had completed her chemotherapy treatment, she declared that she was “relieved to be now in remission” from her cancer.

The Princess of Wales indicated, in March 2024, that she had cancer. The nature of it had never been disclosed.

Ahead of the announcement, heir-to-the-throne William’s wife Kate visited the Royal Marsden Hospital in London “to show her gratitude to this incredible team and highlight the world-leading care that Marsden provides “, Kensington Palace said in a statement.

The princess spent about an hour in the hospital where her treatment took place.

In particular, she spoke with a patient who had just received her first treatment.

When she left, she hugged a woman visiting the hospital. “I’m sorry. I wish I could help more,” said the princess, visibly moved.
