Emil Heineman will miss three to four weeks of action with an upper-body injury suffered while involved in a road accident Monday in Utah, the Montreal Canadiens announced Tuesday.

It was as a pedestrian that Heineman was involved in this accident, said the Habs, who will face the Utah Hockey Club on Tuesday (9 p.m. ET; Utah16, TSN2, RDS).

The 23-year-old Swedish forward has 17 points (10 goals, seven assists) in 41 games this season. His 10 goals place him third among NHL rookies this season.
