“You managed to come out against Adam Walton (4-6, 4-6, 6-4, 7-6 [4]7-5) in the first round of the Australian Open…
I knew I was going to give it my all but I had trouble finding myself on the return leg, and I came up against a player who was serving very well, in a slightly “crazy” atmosphere. The stadium was tough, frankly, they made a lot of noise, they weren’t necessarily very respectful all the time. It wasn’t easy conditions but I’m glad I held on. I got better as time went on and my serve helped me a lot. I was able to put him under pressure and I played a very good tie-break in the 4th set. I have the feeling that I went for it more towards the end.
