This Saturday January 11 already promises to be a turning point in the season for La Duch’, after the defeat at Seyssinet, Lionel Bah’s men were relegated to 4th place in the general classification (3 points behind leader Limonest). On the occasion of this 12th day of National 3, La Duch’ travels to Thonon to face TEGG in a summit meeting. With only one step ahead of their opponent, our players will have to deliver a solid performance to bring back victory for Haute Savoie. A few days before this shock, our midfielder Rayane Chayebi took part in the Pre-Match game by answering a few questions.
Hi Rayane, you arrived during the summer transfer window, can you tell us how your integration at La Duch’ went?
RC : “My integration went very well, from the start I felt very comfortable, as if I were at home, so it was really great! »
You started winter preparation last week after a few days of vacation, how did the start go? And how did you feel physically?
RC : “For my part, I worked a lot during the holidays, so I feel really good physically, I knew that I needed to work well during the break otherwise I would have lost time to get back on top physically. But suddenly I’m really good. »
Regarding the group, what do you think are the main qualities of the squad?
-RC : “For me, the first quality is our complementarity, whether in defense, midfield or attack there is quality in all positions. I think it’s a whole, and that’s what makes us strong. »
This weekend, you are traveling to Thonon, a team in the race for promotion, what type of match are you expecting?
RC : “I’m expecting a complicated match, like all matches, but this one in particular because it’s the restart, it’s the first match. We don’t necessarily know how they prepared, if they are ready, and so are we if we are too. I’m really expecting a very complicated and committed match. »
What are the most important ingredients to bring victory?
RC : “To win this weekend, it’s like all matches, we’ll have to be determined, make the effort together. For the side with the ball, I’m not worried because we have a lot of quality in the squad, but it’s more the aspect without the ball where we will have to perform well. We will have to make the effort together, and if we can do this together it should go well. »
