Chris Kreider was placed on the New York Rangers injured list Tuesday with an upper-body injury.
The forward did not play in Sunday’s game between the Rangers and the Chicago Blackhawks. His addition to the injured list is retroactive to the day of this duel.
Kreider will miss at least his team’s next three games, including the one against the Dallas Stars on Tuesday (7 p.m. ET; Victory+, MSG).
The 33-year-old veteran has 15 points (13 goals, two assists) in 34 games this season.
The Rangers also claimed striker Arthur Kaliyev on waivers on Monday. Kaliyev was released from the Los Angeles Kings the day before. He will not be in uniform on Tuesday.
