Nvidia hit hard at CES 2025 with the announcement of its new graphics cards RTX 50 series. Built on the Blackwell architecture, they promise revolutionary performance thanks to advanced integration of artificial intelligence.
A technological leap with the 50 series
The series is led by the RTX 5090, a real racing beast with 125 TFLOPS in shaders, 380 RT TFLOPS and 4,000 AI TOPS. It is closely followed by the RTX 5080, 5070 Ti and the 5070, offered at prices starting at $549 for the latter. Nvidia aims to make power accessible without sacrificing quality.
With 92 billion transistors and GDDR7 memory offering up to 1.8 TB/s of bandwidth, these cards set the bar very high. Founders Edition models feature a redesigned design with dual fans optimized to maintain efficient heat dissipation.
DLSS 4 : un game-changer
The major new feature lies in DLSS 4, a technology called “Multi-Frame Generation”. It doubles the FPS compared to the RTX 4090. Improvements visible in titles like Cyberpunk 2077 and Alan Wake 2. This advancement clearly transforms the gaming experience! How? By offering ultra-smooth and detailed graphics…even in the most demanding games. A revolution!
Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang even claims that the RTX 5070 offers performance close to the RTX 4090 for only $549. “It’s impossible without artificial intelligence and G7 memories,” he stressed.
Availability and price
The RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 will be available from January 30, 2025 while the RTX 5070 Ti and 5070 models will arrive in February. Only a few more weeks to wait before getting your hands on it. Prices range between $549 for the 5070 and $1,999 for the 5090, targeting different profiles of players and creators.
The future of gaming according to Nvidia
With this new range, Nvidia is pushing the limits of what is possible. Players and creators alike benefit from unprecedented power to explore ever more realistic worlds. Whether for boosted FPS, complex 3D renderings or 4K streaming, the RTX 50 series mark a real revolution.
