Nivida’s GeForce RTX 5090 is revealed before its presentation: its power is monstrous

We are one day away from the presentation of Nvidia’s RTX 50 series and the full technical sheet of the GeForce RTX 5090 has just leaked. Unsurprisingly, the graphics card is a monster of power if we are to believe the information from a specialized site.

  • The RTX 5090 integrates 32 GB of GDDR7 memory with a 512-bit bus, a speed of 28 gigabits per second and a bandwidth close to 1.8 terabytes per second
  • Featuring 21,760 CUDA cores and Blackwell architecture, it promises 70% faster performance than the previous generation
  • Its energy consumption is estimated at 575W, reaching 600W for personalized versions.

According to recent reports, the performance of the RTX 5090 will be 70% faster than previous GPUs. And the latest leak confirms it as the RTX 50 series will be presented on the night of Tuesday January 7 at 3:30 a.m., in .

What is the technical sheet of the GeForce RTX 5090?

According to information from VideoCardz, the RTX 5090 will have 32 GB GDDR7 memory : a first on the graphics card market. Memory performance will reach peaks with a 512-bit bus and a speed of 28 gigabits per second for a bandwidth close to 1.8 terabytes per second. In short, these characteristics greatly exceed the RTX 4090 but especially the RTX 5080 with its 16 GB of RAM, the release date of which has been revealed.

To achieve such performance, the RTX 5090 benefits from 21,760 CUDA cores and Nvidia’s Blackwell architecture. However, you will have to expect high energy consumption to manage this graphics card: 575W or even 600W for personalized versions like that of MSI for the RTX 5080 which has also leaked.

Previously, another custom version was revealed, the RTX 5090 Inno3D iChill X3. The escape allowed us to learn that the heat dissipation system occupies 3.5 slots and has three fans, in addition to RGB lighting. The graphics card confirms, for those who doubted it, that it is intended for ambitious configurations. An ASUS gaming PC priced at 5,999 euros and equipped with this GPU taught us this.

It remains to wait the presentation of the RTX 5090 the price of which has been revealed, in addition to that of the RTX 5080, and would reach up to 2500 euros. There are only a few hours left before Nvidia presents the RTX 50 series to us at CES which is in full swing.
