The Royal Canadian Mounted Police in New Brunswick are releasing the names of the two dead people found in a burned vehicle in Chipman, in the Fredericton region, in November.

The victims of the double homicide are Robert Waugh47 years old and Victoria King23 years old. They resided in the Fredericton area.

On November 25, around 8 a.m., police officers from the Chipman detachment of the GRC responded to a call about a vehicle on fire near the road Midland.

Two bodies were found inside a Chevrolet Equinox vehicle when they arrived.

The major crimes unit of the GRC then launched an appeal to the population as part of its investigation and affirmed that these deaths were considered homicides.

The identities of the two victims had not been released by authorities at this time.

The investigation continues, and anyone with information on the case or who was in the Chipman area on the night of November 24 or the morning of November 25 is asked to contact the GRC.
