World news reminds us how crucial this profession, sometimes carried out in difficult conditions, is for our democracies. We particularly salute the determination of those who, despite the ordeals, continue to “carry the pen in the wound” like our 2024 laureates, Lorraine de Foucher, Antoine Védeilhé, Germain Baslé and Martin Untersinger, whose investigations and reports resonated powerfully with the major issues of our time.
Thanks to its committed partners, the Albert Londres Prize will strengthen its image and information education actions. This work, often discreet, nevertheless remains fundamental; it strengthens the collective mission of our profession.
In 2025, we will continue our commitment to demanding journalism through scholarships, podcasts, books, meetings, etc. These projects will highlight the challenges, questions and values that drive the profession of informing in a context multiple crises. The Albert Londres Prize will also strengthen its presence within the Maison Albert Londres in Vichy and the eponymous Rencontres which are held there each year.
