Ski jumping: a first golden eagle for Daniel Tschofenig

This Monday late afternoon, 14,300 spectators gathered at the foot of the Paul-Ausserleitner-Schanze in Bischofshofen (Austria). It must be said that this 2025 kings competition promised to be historic for Austrian ski jumpingwinner of the first three tricks of the 73rd Four Springboards Tour and present on the first three steps of the general podium.

Better yet, Stefan Kraft, Jan Hoerl and Daniel Tschofenig were separated by only 1.3 points before this competition historically placed on Epiphany Daypublic holiday in Austria. Only, in the final, Daniel Tschofenig, at 140.5 meters, completely overturned the table of kings to win the golden eagle. Fifth at the halfway point, he made a fantastic comeback to win with a 2.1 point lead over Jan Hoerl and 5.4 on Stefan Kraftlast to set off after a long wait due to the wind. Under the eyes of his companion Alexandria Loutittit becomes the first Austrian to triumph over the Four Hills Tournament for 10 years.

A thirty-fourth place to finish for Valentin Foubert

In the tricolor clan, Valentin Foubert (126 meters) lost on KO system against the local Manuel Fettner (128.5 meters) by 3.3 points and was undrafted.
