HIS BRONCO TARGETED BY THIEVES
Tina Desmarais’ vehicle was targeted by thieves twice in the space of just a few days. On December 21, the woman was preparing to go on vacation. Around 5 a.m., the director of the Coaticook Vocational Training Center – CRIFA noticed that her Ford Bronco was no longer in the courtyard of her residence in Sherbrooke.
Five days later, using the FordPass app, she received a text telling her that she had connected to her vehicle. The geolocation service indicates that his car is in Trois-Rivières. She goes there and finds her vehicle, while calling the local police. All his belongings are there, except for his wallet and passport. She was able to recover her vehicle on December 31.
On January 2, the scenario unfortunately repeated itself as bandits stole his Bronco, once again, in his yard.
The case was entrusted to the Sherbrooke Police Department. The vehicle has still not been found.
