Despite cold weather and recent rainfall, a major forest fire broke out in the forests of Mouklata and El Kitane, located between the communes of Tétouan and Zeitoun, near Aïn Zarka. The fire, which occurred late in the night from Sunday to Monday, quickly grew due to the strong winds blowing in the region. This is how the fire spread over a vast area, destroying tens of hectares of dense vegetation.
