The general management of the national airline Camair-Co released a press release explaining the incident that occurred on one of its flights to Garoua, in the Northern region, on Sunday January 5, 2025.

Camair-Co informs that despite the incident, the aircraft landed safely, passengers and crew members disembarked normally.

« The General Management of Camair-Co informs its kind customers that, during the regular flight QC222 of January 5, 2025, to Garoua, a cabin depressurization occurred during the approach to Garoua airport, requiring the immediate deployment of oxygen masks by the crew, in the interest of passenger comfort. The crew immediately carried out a controlled descent and a safe landing at Garoua International Airport, in accordance with the procedures defined by the manufacturer.

After landing, the passengers and crew disembarked normally.

The device was made available to technical teams for inspection to ensure the smooth running of future operations.
