The new French series Erica, filmed in Hossegor in particular, begins Monday January 6 at 9:10 p.m. on TF1. Two parts in a row. Adaptation in 6X52′ of Camilla Läckberg’s novels “The Ice Princess”, “The Preacher” and “The Stonecutter”.
Erica Faure, 41, is a successful writer of detective novels. Returning to her hometown to empty the house of her deceased parents, she discovers the lifeless body of Alexandra, her childhood best friend, with her veins cut. Convinced that it is not a suicide, Erica launches into an investigation where past and present intertwine. However, it is above all his meeting with Captain Patrick Saab that will turn his life upside down. Episodes directed by Frédéric Berthe.

This Monday January 6: While passing through her hometown of Port-Clément to settle her parents’ estate, Erica Faure, a thriller novelist, discovers the body of her childhood friend, Alexandra, with her veins cut in her bathtub. Monday January 13: In the forest near Port-Clément, a farmer discovers the mutilated body of a young woman. Erica Faure, four months pregnant, refuses to stay behind, despite the reluctance of the investigator, Patrick Saab. The investigation quickly leads them to the Hamelot family, once famous for the healing powers of their ancestor. Connections to a similar crime fifteen years ago complicate the case, pushing Erica and Patrick to dig into the past to uncover the secrets that are tearing this strange family apart.
Monday January 20: A kayaker saves a little girl from drowning, but is brutally killed with his own paddle. When bruises are discovered on the body of the little girl, now in a coma, it becomes clear that she was the real target. Erica, still fragile after the birth of her daughter, immediately gets involved when she learns that the child is a friend of Emma, her niece. Returning from parental leave, Patrick Saab takes charge of the police investigation. Together, they embark on a race against time to discover who could have wanted to harm little Pauline.
