Dark news in the artistic community at the start of the year, as - confirmed this Sunday the death of actor Julien Poulin, in circumstances which have not yet been revealed.
Aged 78, Julien still occupied a prominent place in several acclaimed series appreciated by the public. More recently, it was in the role of Yvon, in Léo, that he attracted the attention of viewers.
Obviously, it is impossible to ignore his character of Elvis Gratton, THE role which propelled his career to new heights and which many still have fond and happy memories of today. This character, created at the turn of the 80s, has appeared in a host of films and works of fiction, and has since become a timeless classic.
On social networks, Internet users are mourning the disappearance of the actor in large numbers, mentioning on several occasions the extent of his talent, his humor and his humanity. The singer and host Mélissa Bédard, for her part, welcomed the departure of the great man by mentioning a cult line from the character of Elvis Gratton:
