Direction THE in Karelli today, with conditions marked by overnight rain, which spared much of the snow. The rain-snow limit was at 2200 m overnight, but surprisingly the conditions didn’t suffer too much.
Ski side : the snow is heavy but still retains a beautiful texture, sometimes changing. Which made it possible to enjoy great runs. Off-piste, we explored the whole resort a bit: there were still some beautiful lines to trace. A few jumps on the beautiful stones of the station. Not too many touches to report, except during a “postcard” photo test which left some memories on the edges.
Weather wise : sun all day, with almost summer heat. At 4 p.m., the thermometer showed 9°C in the parking lot. The station is deserted.
In summary : a perfect family day with the cousin and the father. Between sun, beautiful descents, and relaxed atmosphere, we had a great time. With 5 degrees less, we would have reached paradise, we had to come yesterday.
