Premier League: Arsenal hanging on to Brighton, Liverpool can fly away

Arsenal dropped two valuable points in the Premier League title race. The Gunners were in fact hung 1-1 at Brighton on the 20th day.

Arsenal stall at Brighton

Mikel Arteta’s team took the lead in the 16th minute thanks to a goal from young Ethan Nwaneri (17). The latter started due to Bukayo Saka’s injury.

In the second half, the Seagulls managed to come back from a penalty from Joao Pedro conceded by William Saliba (61st).

Brighton then pushed for victory, but they were unable to crack the Londoners.

Liverpool can do the right thing

Arsenal therefore find themselves five points behind Liverpool having played two more games. The leader will have the opportunity to increase his lead on Sunday when Manchester United come to Anfield (5:30 p.m.).
