Chênois Geneva Volleyball failed to create the feat in the Amriswil room. The Thurgovians won 3-1 (25-13, 24-26, 25-20, 25-19) and continue their progress at the top of the LNA rankings with 43 points in 15 matches. After a first set too easily left to their opponents, Carlos Carreno Cejudo’s men woke up in the second set to snatch it at the end of the suspense. In one place, they failed to take advantage of this great momentum.

The Genevans remain in their fourth place with 25 points, but are losing ground on Näfels (3rd) who now has a three-point lead, following his success against Dovecote 3-2 (25-20, 19-25, 25-18, 23-25, 15-10). The Neuchâtelois are seventh with 13 points.
The third match of the evening involving a French-speaking club was not a success either, with the defeat of LUC who received Volley Schönenwerd 1-3 (22-25, 25-16, 18-25, 24-26). The Solothurns reacted well after the loss of the second set, which allows them to record 38 points in 14 matches and occupy second place in the LNA rankings. Fifth, LUC (22 points) is standing still, just like its direct opponents.
