OTHÓN P. BLANCO, QRoo, January 4, 2025.- Governor Mara Lezama presented the 2024 State Humanities, Sciences, Technology and Innovation Prize to 19 individuals, including 11 women, in recognition of their contribution in the areas of research and development.
This award, organized by the Quintanarroense Council of Humanities, Sciences and Technologies, aims to stimulate scientific, technological and humanistic research in the State, promoting the efforts made in categories such as Scientific Research and Best Thesis of Research.
During the ceremony, Lezama highlighted the importance of strengthening research and innovation structures to face future challenges. She thus highlighted the need to include more young people in the scientific and academic world in order to promote the development of Quintana Roo.
This event is part of the New Pact for the Well-being and Development of Quintana Roo, an initiative led by the governor, which aims to support research and knowledge in the region.
