Owner of a dog named Miko, his owners now find themselves obliged to find him a foster family, while he finds a home. “We were contacted by one of the affected families from Sainte-Marie who lost everything in the fire,” indicates the association.
“They have nothing left and are currently staying with family, but they will be relocated to a home where they are not allowed to keep their dog,” says Apeba.
– Miko looking for a host family –
Miko, a 9-year-old cream-colored Cane Corso, remains unsolved. He is therefore still looking for his host family.
“This beautiful 9-year-old cane corso is currently tied up in a yard that is not fenced and is very unhappy,” specifies the association.
A dog who enjoys the company of cats and his canine counterparts.
Please note that Miko is not the only four-legged friend looking for a temporary or lifelong family, as can be seen on the Apeba association’s Facebook.
– A family loses everything in a fire –
On Thursday, December 26, 2024 in Sainte-Marie, at Grande Montée, a family lost everything in a house fire.
On site, “around ten simultaneous outbreaks were reported”, indicated the operations commander, Lieutenant-Colonel Elvis Chamand. “We are dealing with arsonists,” he said.
“There is a clear desire to set a fire with damage that we know about since a house burned down.”
