Led by DHL Express France and in collaboration with the French Federation of Women’s Ready-to-Wear, this award supports the winning fashion brand in the development of its international activities, thanks to coaching on export strategy and an award of 10,000 euros in DHL Express shipping coupons. From the applications received, the jury made up of sector experts selected six brands. Focus on the finalists of the fourth edition of the competition.
The ultra-feminine silhouettes of Rowen Rose
The young brand Rowen Rose, launched six years ago by designer Emma Rowen Rose (daughter of host Stéphane Rotenberg and journalist Nathalie Pisibon) focuses on a colorful and joyful wardrobe punctuated with XXL accessories.
Since 2018, the Parisian label has imagined glamorous, ultra-feminine and slightly offbeat silhouettes such as blouses with a pussy-bow collar in transparent burgundy silk and poppy red coats. oversizesculptural dresses in toile de Jouy or even shorts with big candy pink stripes (spring-summer 2025). Collections with a neo-romantic look and high-end positioning, resold on the Rowen Rose website, as well as in its network of retailers such as Printemps in Paris, the Harrods department store in London and the e-retailer luxury Net-A-Porter.
The elegant and sunny hats of Van Palma
The Marseille brand Van Palma, founded in 2017 by designer Victoria Sanguinetti, distills the southern sun and the Californian air of Palm Springs into its collection of hats.
In its catalog, we find “Made In Marseille” hats (from 180 to 350 euros for pieces adorned with semi-precious stones) made from wool felt for winter and hand-woven toquilla straw for summer, and customizable with embroidery, an elegant ceremony collection, other accessories such as jewelry, bags and bucket hats, as well as a fashion offer. In 2019, the duo of friends Lisa Favreau and Lisa Guedel-Dolle founded the fashion brand Azur with the aim of offering timeless, handcrafted pieces.
Ivory silk dress, terracotta strappy top (from 305 euros), embroidered blouse with a crinkled appearance, long two-tone skirt (500 euros) and shopping bag… Azur makes its entire fashion collection in its Marseille studio and colorful textile accessories with vegetable dyes and hand-made pleats. This young Marseille brand, launched just before the Covid-19 pandemic, is distributed in around thirty points of sale (independent retailers and concept stores) around the world, from Paris to Sydney via Vancouver and Seoul.
L’upcycling chic selon Akho
A fan of upcycling, the young brand Akho, launched three years ago by entrepreneur Valentine Robin and incubated at Station F in Paris, makes its women’s wardrobe with clothing scraps and dormant stocks.
Since its first unisex shirt sold for pre-order in May 2021 on Ulule, the ambitious label has grown and now offers an expanded collection inspired by tailoring including elegant blazers (from 109 to 199 euros), jumpsuits, high-waisted pants or even skirts decorated with jeweled details (from 79 euros). The young Akho, who relies on controlled production in Parisian and Moroccan workshops, created lemon yellow uniforms for the Big Mamma group of Italian restaurants. It is resold on its site, in its boutique on rue d’Hauteville in Paris and in the space [Re]Galerie Lafayette Haussmann store.
The ultra-colorful silhouettes of Jupes de Plum
Also a fan of Made in France, the brand Les Petites Jupes de Prune, since renamed Les Jupes de Prune, was launched in 2012 by Prune Boidin, then a young graduate.
This Parisian brand, which defends committed and fun fashion, has focused on sustainable production since its creation. In her feminine wardrobe, we obviously find short sequinned skirts (her first product), midi skirts with floral prints and long pleated skirts (sold from 54 to 130 euros), green velvet pants and dresses and even fleeces. colorful.
