La Liga has confirmed that Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor will not be registered by FC Barcelona for the second half of the 2024/2025 season. According to the general regulations of the RFEF, articles 130.2 and 141.5 prohibit a player whose license has been canceled from obtaining a new one with the same club during the same season.
Barcelona failed to register both players before the 2024 deadline, which was the deadline to regularize their situation. This leaves midfielder Dani Olmo, a former Leipzig player, without registration or contractual ties. According to close sources, Olmo is evaluating options to continue with another team in the coming months, without ruling out a return to Hansi Flick’s team in the 2025/2026 season.
