TF1 confirms that it will no longer broadcast Gladiators in prime time on Friday evenings, just one week after its launch, due to audiences considered disappointing. The television channel is already considering another program instead.

What’s more, TF1 had entrusted a unique and unifying trio to attract attention: Jean-Pierre Foucault, Denis Brogniart and Hélène Mannarino.

As for the second evening, the first channel failed to capture the attention of a million viewers. They were very exactly 950 000 to follow the entertainment, or 5.2% audience share. Indeed, TF1 will broadcast the last three issues during the same evening, Friday January 10, in the second and third parts, instead of Friday anything goes with Arthur. Next week, we already know which program will be offered to viewers instead: a show by ventriloquist Jeff Panaclocstill according to The Parisian. Then, on Friday January 17, another show will take over, also hosted by Arthur and already seen in the past: Tourists.

Two cult shows soon to return on TF1
The year 2025 could nevertheless be much better for TF1given what is expected for the coming weeks. In fact, we are already teasing the 14th season of Dancing with the stars with a renewed jury and candidates from very different backgrounds.
