Miss Money in the Bank since July 2024, Tiffany Stratton had remained undecided in recent weeks as to the ideal time to cash in her briefcase. At 25, the young wrestler finally chose to mark the start of 2025 by surprising the fans… as well as her teammates.
On WWE SmackDown on January 3, 2025, Nia Jax defended her WWE Championship against Naomi. Tiffany Stratton appeared in the middle of the match with her MITB briefcase, but she surprised everyone by attacking Naomi, thus giving the victory to the reigning champion.
However, she was able to take advantage of the situation during an attack by Nia Jax on Bianca Belair after the match. Stratton first kicked Candice LeRae out of the ring before Bianca Belair, on a knee-jerk reaction, placed her KOD on Nia Jax. Then, Belair found herself thrown over the commentary table by Stratton.
This perfectly set the stage for Tiffany Stratton, who did not hesitate to cash in her Money in the Bank briefcase. She performed her Prettiest Moonsault Ever on Nia Jax to conclude with a victorious pinfall to a standing ovation from the crowd.
