The regional director of trade in Nabeul, Samir Khalfaoui, announced this Friday the imminent arrival of 5,300 tonnes of gas intended for domestic use. These quantities will be distributed as a priority in the delegations of Grombalia, Hammam Al-Ghezaz, Kelibia, El Haouaria and Menzel Temime, which have recently faced strong tension in terms of supply.
According to Khalfaoui, these new deliveries will cover consumption needs for a period of 10 to 15 days. He believes that this measure will significantly improve access to this essential resource, pending the arrival of additional shipments in the coming weeks.
The official also stressed that regional trade services work in close coordination with the relevant central authorities to ensure a stable supply of domestic gas. Efforts are being made in collaboration with local authorities, security forces and economic control services to effectively organize the distribution process.
Logistics relies on six companies operating in the field of wholesale gas distribution, which ensure coverage of the region in compliance with regulatory measures.
