Dimitri Boetto, aged 51, was arrested at the Lyon Saint-Exupéry airport station on 1is January while he was on his way to . A few hours earlier, he allegedly fatally struck his former brother-in-law in Apt, in the Luberon.

The actor Dimitri Boetto was arrested on 1is January by several police crews in the Lyon Saint-Exupéry station, located next to the airport. The man, aged 51, is suspected of having beaten his former brother-in-law to death during a violent fight which took place on Wednesday noon in the city center of Apt (), reports Bleu. The victim was found unconscious in the center of the town. Treated by emergency services, the man in his fifties died in hospital a few hours later.

Investigators quickly identified Dimitri Boetto as the perpetrator and learned that the latter had boarded an -Paris train. It was on this train that he was arrested a few hours later before being taken into police custody. Unknown to the general public, Dimitri Boetto had filmed a scene for the series Household scenes broadcast on M6, but was cut during editing. However, he was seen in the Netflix series So far, so good.

The investigation, led by the Avignon public prosecutor’s office, must now determine the reasons which led to this dispute.
