The 29-year-old star recalled the moment in an episode of the podcast Reign with Josh Smith. “We were having an emotional conversation in the scene and John (Crowley) came in and said, ‘No, no, no, Florence, you can’t cry there,’” she recalled. “I was like, ‘What?! This is heartbreaking!’ And he answered me: “No, you are the pillar of the family. It’s something that happens to him, but not to you. So the moment when it’s your turn to collapse, I want it to feel really bad.”
