Vaucluse. French actor arrested on suspicion of beating man to death outside bar

It was following a fight between two fifty-year-olds, leaving a bar in the town of Apt, that a man lost his life this Wednesday 1^is January. The events took place between noon and two, on this first day of the year 2025.

For a reason which remains to be determined by investigators from the Pertuis gendarmerie company, the two 50-year-old men who knew each other decided to come to blows when leaving the establishment. The fight lasted a few minutes. No weapons were used.

Following the violence of the blows, one of the two men remained on the ground. He will be left unconscious by the second who will leave the scene. It was another person who notified the emergency services.

Actor Dimitri Boetto, suspected of having given the fatal blows

Transported to the emergency room in serious condition by the city’s firefighters, the victim died at Apt hospital a few minutes later. The suspect who fled was arrested at the end of the day at Lyon Saint-Exupéry station on a TGV heading to Paris. It is an actor and combat sports fan, Dimitri Boetto, originally from Apt.

He now lives in the Paris region. He has notably been seen in various films such as “ The last queen » by Damien Ounouri or « Burn Out » by Yann Gozlan. He also played several roles in Scènes deménage on M6 or in the Netflix series “ So far, so good » He was taken into custody for homicide.

An autopsy will be carried out this Friday 3 January in the morning at the Nîmes forensic institute on the body of the victim who lived in the Aptesian city.
