This day, shortly after 2:00 p.m., the Jura cantonal police were informed that a fire had broken out in a home in the village of Saulcy. On site, the police noted that smoke and flames were present on the roof of a building and the home could be evacuated. The fire service was represented by the SIS Haute-Sorne as well as the CRISD who rushed to the scene and brought the fire under control with the help of 26 men in total. Two ambulances were ordered to take care of four people who were bothered by smoke. One person was slightly injured and was treated by the ambulance service. A diversion was put in place by the fire service for approximately two hours. An ECA representative came to the scene to assess the incident. A representative of the municipality also came to the scene. The gendarmerie carried out the usual reports and the judicial police also went to the site to determine the causes of the fire. The causes are currently being investigated.
