Michèle Bernier, one of the key figures in French theater and television, recently expressed her frustration in an interview. For years, she has been discreet on one of the subjects that particularly bothers her: her absence from Les Enfoirés.
For the actress and comedian, it is difficult to understand why she has never been asked to participate in this charity concert which brings together the biggest French stars each year for the benefit of Restos du Cœur.
A troop that diversifies every year
For more than three decades, The Bastards have become a real institution in France. This collective of artists, brought together every year for a major show, was able to combine music, humor and solidarity in order to support the Restos du Coeura humanitarian organization created by Coluche in 1985.
The troupe was also born the following year, in 1986. Coluche, who had launched an appeal for donations by organizing concerts, wanted to combine the world of music and that of humor to create a unifying event that would allow to raise funds for the most deprived. The idea quickly took shape: bringing together artists from all backgrounds (musicians, singers, comedians, actors) to offer a unique show, the proceeds of which would be entirely donated to the Restos du Cœur.
Every year, personalities from the world of music, cinema, television, comedy and even sport come together to offer a unique show. Big stars like Johnny Hallyday, Mylène Farmer, Jean-Jacques Goldman, Florent Pagny or Zazie to young rising talents including key figures of the new generation like Vitaa, Jamel Debouzze, Kylian Mbappé, Camille Lacourt and Santa, Les Enfoirés have always been able to bring together a varied palette of artists.
-A legitimate rant
This Monday, December 30, 2024, Michèle Bernier was starring in the TV movie Panic at 31 on TF1. The 56-year-old actress is also starring in the series “La Intern” on the same channel. Despite her popularity and fame, she was never asked by Les Enfoirés to be part of the troupe.
If she had already expressed her sadness, she returns to the subject today in an interview with Télé-Loisirs. “You have to ask them the question. I still don’t have the answer. You have to ask them why I’m not there” she laments.
