A 47-year-old “fake psychologist” has been detained in Belgium. The man is accused of having committed numerous sexual assaults against mentally disabled people in a reception center.

Thus, according to the Charleroi public prosecutor’s office, the suspect is accused of “more than ten” rapes and sexual assaults committed between July 2022 and October 2024 against adults hosted in this Anderlues center.
Writing forgeries produced
The suspect, who denies the facts, is also charged with forgery. He is suspected of having produced a false psychologist diploma to get hired at this day center.
The man was incarcerated at the beginning of December after the complaint of one of his victims, and his detention was confirmed at the end of 2024 by the Belgian justice system, the prosecution said.
