Shortly before 1 p.m., an argument broke out between several people on the upper square of Saint-Laud station, before the victim took refuge in the station where she was hit with “several blows with one or more blunt objects”, Mr. Bouillard told an AFP correspondent, confirming information from Courrier de l'Ouest.
No impact on rail traffic
The young man died from his injuries despite the intervention of emergency services. No suspects were immediately arrested.

The investigation was handed over to the Organized and Specialized Crime Division. Part of the station was closed to the public but without impact on rail traffic.
