On the night of Wednesday January 1 to Thursday January 2, a Cybertruck, a Tesla brand vehicle, exploded in front of a hotel belonging to Donald Trump in Las Vegas, a few hours after the attack which took place in New Orleans.
While the vehicle was parked in front of Donald Trump's hotel in Las Vegas, a Cybertruck, an ultra-resistant vehicle from Tesla, Elon Musk's vehicle brand, exploded. An explosion which caused the death of one person and seven people were injured on the night of Wednesday January 1st to Thursday January 2nd.
Occurring a few hours after the attack in New Orleans, police quickly sought to find out if the two events were linked before Joe Biden declared that there was nothing to indicate it. “so far”. “There is no visible Islamic State flag like there was in New Orleans”specified the sheriff of Las Vegas, Kevin McMahill.

The evil knuckleheads picked the wrong vehicle for a terrorist attack. Cybertruck actually contained the explosion and directed the blast upwards.

After the explosion, Tesla owner Elon Musk quickly reacted on X, a social network he also owns. For him, “the evil morons chose the wrong vehicle for a terrorist attack”. Then defending the solidity of his vehicle, he explains that “the Cybertruck actually contained the explosion and directed the blast upwards. Even the glass doors to the lobby were not broken.”
We have now confirmed that the explosion was caused by very large fireworks and/or a bomb carried in the bed of the rented Cybertruck and is unrelated to the vehicle itself.

Inside the vehicle were found “large fireworks mortars”according to Las Vegas police. The structure of the vehicle having moreover “permit to limit the damage”. Elon Musk had also explained, in a previous post, that it was the contents of the vehicle which had caused the explosion, which “is not linked to the vehicle itself”.
In Europe, the Tesla Cybertruck is not available for sale. If it is ultra resistant, it is this same resistance which slows down its availability according to BFMTV. Indeed, during an impact the bodywork of a vehicle deforms to absorb the shock, which is not the case with the Cybertruck whose bodywork remains rigid.
