With a deafening noise, this 46-year-old man was cutting the safe door with a large grinder. “The two elderly suspects are cousins ​​born in and residing in Rennes,” the gendarmerie said in a press release addressed to the media.

Procedure for recognition of guilt

One of them was sentenced to 18 months' imprisonment, 9 months of which were suspended, during a guilty plea procedure. He received additional sentences including a ban on appearing at the Gifi store and a ban on contacting his cousin and accomplice.
